About Ben Levy

Ben is a highly accomplished musical director and teacher of singing, piano and music theory. His current students can be found starring in London’s West End, working on professional cruises and pantomimes and studying in highly prestigious institutions including Royal Academy of Music (RAM), Mountview, ArtsEd, East 15, Rose Bruford, LAMDA and SLP College. He currently serves as Resident Musical Director and Teacher of Singing on the faculty at SLP College Leeds and is Head of Singing for SLP Junior Academy and for SLP Junior Associates Programme. Ben is highly sought after as a workshop coach and is Artistic Director for Ulster University’s annual educational outreach programme Riverside Musical Theatre Summer School every year. As a musical director, Ben has worked extensively in theatre and for the last 4 years has been Musical Director for Military Wives Choir, York, conducting the ensemble for a wide range of performances to include performing with Lulu, Alfie Boe and in prestigious venues such as York Minster, Scarborough Open Air Theatre and for numerous album recordings. When not teaching or conducting, Ben is a registered music examiner for ICMA Contemporary Music Examinations Board.
