About Emiliano Bonanomi
Emiliano Bonanomi is a professional guitarist, tutor and music consultant. He covers many different styles from Rock to Pop, Blues, Funk, Metal and has more than fifteen years of experience as a performer and teacher.
He holds a Masters degree (MMus) in Popular Music Performance at UEL/ICMP and he previously graduated in Italy at RGA Milan and Conservatoire “G. Donizetti” of Bergamo.
Emiliano works as a guitar tutor, teaching students of all levels and experience from very beginners to advanced players. He is a Yamaha Music System certified educator and can teach lead and rhythm techniques in a wide range of styles from rock, pop to blues, funk, metal. Theory and harmony, Rockschool/Trinity/LCM grades preparation, ensemble performance are also covered in his lessons.
As a session guitarist, he works with musician agencies playing function bands (pop/rock, funky/soul, acoustic duos), musical theatre shows (Bring It On, Seussical, Cinderella, Our House) and he performs and record music for new emerging artists (Harina, Freya Alley, Jennings Couch) in the Greater London area.
Finally, he collaborates with the music production department of University of Derby on the Guitar Ambisonic (G.A.S.P.) project and recently presented a research paper titled “How Blue is Our Blues?”, published by Vernon Press.
