About James Craise

I have many years experience of working in Primary / Secondary schools as well as music and performance art institutions such as the Italia Conte School of Performing Arts & the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. My responsibilities included teaching individual singing lessons as well as leading group ensembles and choirs, preparing students for exams and course development. Most recently i have been working with the Tri Borough Music Hub based in Hammersmith, London where i am a choir leader and additional vocal tutor in schools. i have led my students to perform at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Albert Hall.

My focus as a teacher is to instil a solid knowledge and practice of correct singing technique as i feel this is the most important and solid building block to develop as a professional vocalist/ performer and maintain healthy vocal chords. I have studied many different styles and genres with the voice, and i have also studied many methods of technique including Estill, SLS, CVT

In my professional career i was a member of the ACM Gospel Choir for 7 years and performed in many high profile events all over the UK and Europe. I am also a professional Songwriter and have written and performed with acts such as Professor Green, Robbie Williams and Olly Murs
