About Nina Deiana
Nina is a multilingual actress, vocal coach and physical theatre performer based in London.
She speaks english RP, Italian and Spanish and has been working for over 15 years as a professional actress, musician, and coach in UK and across Europe.
She starts studying piano, guitar and vocals at the age of 7 and her passion for music and performing arts takes her to London in 2002, where she graduates in Performance Technique from Tech Music School.
Straight after that she completes with merit a BA in Jazz singing at Conservatoire “Vivaldi” in Alessandria and after that she graduates in Acting at UTA Rome where she extensively trains in both stage and screen acting, physical theatre, commedia dell’arte, voice over and dubbing.
She trained and worked with such coaches as Simone Niles, Kim Chandler, Laura Conti, Antonio Serrano, Anthony Mathieu, Stefano Mazzotta, Gianpaolo Casati, to name a few.
Nina has over 10 years experience as a coach under her belt. She works with students of all ages and abilities helping them make the most of their instrument, building up confidence and technique and express their authenticity.
As well as being an acting coach, she teaches singing to all levels and also teaches voice technique to actors, public speakers and anyone willing to improve their vocal skills and build a deep connection with the vocal instrument. She works both privately and within school settings all across UK and Europe, hosting workshops and masterclasses in international performing arts schools and music and drama schools.
She’s currently head of voice of the international coaching project “Insomnia” directed by Anthony Mathieu, taking place in major international drama and physical theatre schools across Europe, and willing to expand overseas.
She lives and works in London and she’s just completed an incredible 18 months run in the West End show TheWoman in Black.
