Svetlana is a classical musician and passionate teacher with over 10 years international experience, with focus on individual approach to every student. Svetlana is open to deliver professional tuition to pupils of all abilities and ages, starting from 5 years old.

Svetlana began her piano studies at the age of 9 at The Children’s School of Arts with main subjects such as piano, music theory, solfege, choir and music ensemble. She has shown advanced piano techniques and musical knowledge and graduated the music school 1 year earlier. The next step was Music College and studies with the prominent teachers.

As a piano teacher Svetlana was working in Belarus, United Arab Emirates and UK. She also possesses extensive experience as a piano accompanist and dance pianist. In Belarus, Svetlana was preparing pupils for festivals and competitions and won diplomas and special certificates for successful performances.

In UAE, main focus was preparation of the students for music exams such ABRSM and Trinity College, where her students were always getting merit and distinction marks.

In the UK, Svetlana posessed a Master’s Degree in Music Education from one of the top Conservatories – Trinity Laban –  and continuously developing her teaching practice. Previous years of professional development included Royal Opera House master classes, which led to collaborative project with children of primary ages and promoting opera singing in schools. 

Constant use of technologies in the last years and dramatic changes of musical scenes influenced Svetlana to create innovative, holistic approach of piano teaching with active application of music technologies and digital tools. Moreover, Svetlana created Adult Piano Method for Piano beginners, which was part of her research studies in 2019/20 and appendix to her Master’s dissertation.
